At a carnival, 20% of the tickets were sold at full price and 50% of the tickets at half price. The remaining 120 tickets were given away free. The total amount of money collected was $10080. What was the price of the ticket at half price? 
Percentage of the tickets given free
= 100% - 20% - 50%
= 30%

30% → 120

1% → 120 ÷ 30 = 4

Number of tickets sold at full price
= 20% of the tickets
= 20 x 4
= 80

Number of tickets sold at half price
= 50% of the tickets
= 50 x 4
= 200

Value	2 u	1 u
Total value	160 u	200 u		360 u

Cost of 1 full price ticket = 2 u
Cost of 1 half price ticket = 1 u

Total amount collected
= 80 x 2 u + 200 x 1 u
= 160 u + 200 u
= 360 u

360 u = 10080

1 u = 10080 ÷ 360 = 28

Price of the ticket at half price 
= 1 u
= $28
