At a soccer match, 15% of the tickets were sold at full price and 20% of the tickets at half price. The remaining 650 tickets were given away free. The total amount of money collected was $11500. What was the price of the ticket at half price? 
Percentage of the tickets given free
= 100% - 15% - 20%
= 65%

65% → 650

1% → 650 ÷ 65 = 10

Number of tickets sold at full price
= 15% of the tickets
= 15 x 10
= 150

Number of tickets sold at half price
= 20% of the tickets
= 20 x 10
= 200

Value	2 u	1 u
Total value	300 u	200 u		500 u

Cost of 1 full price ticket = 2 u
Cost of 1 half price ticket = 1 u

Total amount collected
= 150 x 2 u + 200 x 1 u

= 500 u

500 u = 11500

1 u = 11500 ÷ 500 = 23

Price of the ticket at half price 
= 1 u
= $23
