On Saturday, the number of adults to boys to girls visiting a museum was 5 : 8 : 8. On Sunday, the number of adults visiting the museum remained the same. However, the number of boys increased by 50% and the number of girls decreased by 50%.

1. What was the ratio of the number of adults to boys to girls visiting the museum on Sunday?
2. On Saturday, 384 boys and girls visited the museum. What was the total number of visitors at the museum on Sunday?

= 8 u + 4 u
= 12 u

Number of girls on Sunday
= 8 u - 4 u
= 4 u

= 8 u + 8 u
= 16 u

16 u = 384

1 u = 384 ÷ 16 = 24

Total number of visitors on Sunday
= 5 u + 12 u + 4 u
