Emma had a total of 122 purple and green beads. She used 34 purple beads and 50% of the green beads. After that, the ratio of the number of purple beads to green beads Emma had was 9 : 1.

1. What fraction of her green beads did Emma use? Give your answer in the simplest form.
2. How many beads did Emma have in the end?

Number of purple beads at first = 9 u + 34

Total number of beads at first
= 2 u + 9 u + 34
= 11 u + 34

11 u + 34 = 122
11 u = 122 - 34
11 u = 88

1 u = 88 ÷ 11 = 8

Number of green beads in the end = 1 u
Number of purple beads in the end = 9 u

Total number of beads in the end
= 9 u + 1 u
= 10 u
= 10 x 8
= 80
