Dana had a total of 155 orange and green beads. She used 34 orange beads and 75% of the green beads. After that, the ratio of the number of orange beads to green beads Dana had was 7 : 1.

1. What fraction of her green beads did Dana use? Give your answer in the simplest form.
2. How many beads did Dana have in the end?

Number of orange beads at first = 7 u + 34

Total number of beads at first
= 4 u + 7 u + 34
= 11 u + 34

11 u + 34 = 155
11 u = 155 - 34
11 u = 121

1 u = 121 ÷ 11 = 11

Number of green beads in the end = 1 u
Number of orange beads in the end = 7 u

Total number of beads in the end
= 7 u + 1 u
= 8 u
= 8 x 11
= 88
