Jean had a total of 201 green and pink beads. She used 45 green beads and 30% of the pink beads. After that, the ratio of the number of green beads to pink beads Jean had was 2 : 7.

1. What fraction of her pink beads did Jean use? Give your answer in the simplest form.
2. How many beads did Jean have in the end?

Number of pink beads at first = 10 u
Number of green beads at first = 2 u + 45

Total number of beads at first
= 10 u + 2 u + 45
= 12 u + 45

12 u + 45 = 201
12 u = 201 - 45
12 u = 156

1 u = 156 ÷ 12 = 13

Number of pink beads in the end = 7 u
Number of green beads in the end = 2 u

Total number of beads in the end
= 2 u + 7 u
= 9 u
= 9 x 13
= 117
