Tiffany had a total of 134 black and pink beads. She used 26 black beads and 30% of the pink beads. After that, the ratio of the number of black beads to pink beads Tiffany had was 2 : 7.

1. What fraction of her pink beads did Tiffany use? Give your answer in the simplest form.
2. How many beads did Tiffany have in the end?

Number of black beads at first = 2 u + 26

Total number of beads at first
= 10 u + 2 u + 26
= 12 u + 26

12 u + 26 = 134
12 u = 134 - 26
12 u = 108

1 u = 108 ÷ 12 = 9

Number of pink beads in the end = 7 u
Number of black beads in the end = 2 u

Total number of beads in the end
= 2 u + 7 u
= 9 u
= 9 x 9
= 81
