Number of pupils who chose beef sandwiches = 45

15% of pupils = 45

1% of pupils = 45 ÷ 15 = 3

Percent of pupils who chose mutton sandwiches = 30%
Percent of pupils who chose tuna sandwiches = 20%

Percent of pupils who chose mutton and tuna sandwiches
= 30% + 20%
= 50%

Total number of pupils who chose beef and hotdog sandwiches
= 50 x 3
= 150
