The students' choices were also represented by a bar graph but the names of the sandwiches were not shown. What was the total number of students who chose mutton and chicken sandwiches?

Number of students who chose hotdog sandwiches is the least. So it is represented by the shortest bar.

Number of students who chose hotdog sandwiches = 15

5% of students = 15

1% of students = 15 ÷ 5 = 3

Percent of students who chose mutton sandwiches = 30%
Percent of students who chose chicken sandwiches = 20%

Percent of students who chose mutton and chicken sandwiches
= 30% + 20%
= 50%

Total number of students who chose hotdog and tuna sandwiches
= 50 x 3
= 150
