Mr Neo used two printers with different printing rates for a printing job. He started Printer X at 13 44 and started Printer Y two minutes later. He stopped both printers at 13 49. The graphs show the total number of pages printed by each printer from the start of printing.

Number of pages printed by Printer Y from 13 44 to 13 49
= 210

Difference in the number of pages printed by the two printers from 13 44 to 13 49
= 270 - 210
= 60

(c)
Printing rate of Printer X
= 270 ÷ 5
= 54 (Slower)

Printing rate of Printer Y
= 210 ÷ 3
= 70 (Faster)

Difference in the number of pages printed by the printers in one minute
= 70 - 54
= 16
