Mr Sher used two printers with different printing rates for a printing job. He started Printer N at 17 30 and started Printer P two minutes later. He stopped both copiers at 17 35. The graphs show the total number of pages printed by each printer from the start of printing.

1. How many pages had been printed by Printer N at the time Mr Sher started Printer P?
2. What was the difference in the number of pages printed by the two copiers from 17 30 to 17 35?
3. Which printer, N or P, has a slower printing rate? What is the difference in the number of pages printed by the copiers in one minute? Give your answer in this format. (Eg A, 1)

= 270

Number of pages printed by Printer P from 17 30 to 17 35
= 210

Difference in the number of pages printed by the two copiers from 17 30 to 17 35
= 270 - 210
= 60

(c)
Printing rate of Printer N
= 270 ÷ 5
= 54 (Slower)

Printing rate of Printer P
= 210 ÷ 3
= 70 (Faster)

Difference in the number of pages printed by the copiers in one minute
= 70 - 54
= 16
