Mr Peh used two printers with different printing rates for a printing job. He started Printer J at 19 41 and started Printer K two minutes later. He stopped both copiers at 19 46. The graphs show the total number of pages printed by each printer from the start of printing.

= 450

Number of pages printed by Printer K from 19 41 to 19 46
= 300

Difference in the number of pages printed by the two copiers from 19 41 to 19 46
= 450 - 300
= 150

(c)
Printing rate of Printer J
= 450 ÷ 5
= 90 (Slower)

Printing rate of Printer K
= 300 ÷ 3
= 100 (Faster)

Difference in the number of pages printed by the copiers in one minute
= 100 - 90
= 10
