Mr Ang used two printers with different printing rates for a printing job. He started Printer S at 19 53 and started Printer T one minute later. He stopped both copiers at 19 58. The graphs show the total number of pages printed by each printer from the start of printing.

2. What was the difference in the number of pages printed by the two copiers from 19 53 to 19 58?
3. Which printer, S or T, has a slower printing rate? What is the difference in the number of pages printed by the copiers in one minute? Give your answer in this format. (Eg A, 1)

Number of pages printed by Printer T from 19 53 to 19 58
= 450

Difference in the number of pages printed by the two copiers from 19 53 to 19 58
= 450 - 240
= 210

(c)
Printing rate of Printer S
= 240 ÷ 5
= 48 (Slower)

Printing rate of Printer T
= 450 ÷ 4
= 112.5 (Faster)

Difference in the number of pages printed by the copiers in one minute
= 112.5 - 48
= 64.5
