Mr Choo used two printers with different printing rates for a printing job. He started Printer T at 16 26 and started Printer U one minute later. He stopped both printers at 16 31. The graphs show the total number of pages printed by each printer from the start of printing.

Number of pages printed by Printer U from 16 26 to 16 31
= 220

Difference in the number of pages printed by the two printers from 16 26 to 16 31
= 220 - 80
= 140

(c)
Printing rate of Printer T
= 80 ÷ 5
= 16 (Slower)

Printing rate of Printer U
= 220 ÷ 4
= 55 (Faster)

Difference in the number of pages printed by the printers in one minute
= 55 - 16
= 39
