Mr Ong used two printers with different printing rates for a printing job. He started Printer A at 12 24 and started Printer B two minutes later. He stopped both copiers at 12 29. The graphs show the total number of pages printed by each printer from the start of printing.

1. How many pages had been printed by Printer A at the time Mr Ong started Printer B?
2. What was the difference in the number of pages printed by the two copiers from 12 24 to 12 29?
3. Which printer, A or B, has a slower printing rate? What is the difference in the number of pages printed by the copiers in one minute? Give your answer in this format. (Eg A, 1)

= 330

Number of pages printed by Printer B from 12 24 to 12 29
= 240

Difference in the number of pages printed by the two copiers from 12 24 to 12 29
= 330 - 240
= 90

(c)
Printing rate of Printer A
= 330 ÷ 5
= 66 (Slower)

Printing rate of Printer B
= 240 ÷ 3
= 80 (Faster)

Difference in the number of pages printed by the copiers in one minute
= 80 - 66
= 14
