Mr Choy used two printers with different printing rates for a printing job. He started Printer T at 11 39 and started Printer U two minutes later. He stopped both printers at 11 44. The graphs show the total number of pages printed by each printer from the start of printing.

= 180

Difference in the number of pages printed by the two printers from 11 39 to 11 44
= 220 - 180
= 40

(c)
Printing rate of Printer T
= 220 ÷ 5
= 44 (Slower)

Printing rate of Printer U
= 180 ÷ 3
= 60 (Faster)

Difference in the number of pages printed by the printers in one minute
= 60 - 44
= 16
