Mr Goh used two printers with different printing rates for a printing job. He started Printer P at 19 01 and started Printer Q three minutes later. He stopped both printers at 19 06. The graphs show the total number of pages printed by each printer from the start of printing.

2. What was the difference in the number of pages printed by the two printers from 19 01 to 19 06?
3. Which printer, P or Q, has a faster printing rate? What is the difference in the number of pages printed by the printers in one minute? Give your answer in this format. (Eg A, 1)

= 200

Number of pages printed by Printer Q from 19 01 to 19 06
= 125

Difference in the number of pages printed by the two printers from 19 01 to 19 06
= 200 - 125
= 75

(c)
Printing rate of Printer P
= 200 ÷ 5
= 40

Printing rate of Printer Q
= 125 ÷ 2
= 62.5 (Faster)

Difference in the number of pages printed by the printers in one minute
= 62.5 - 40
= 22.5
