Ivory had a bottle of orange juice. She drank 250 mℓ of orange juice in the afternoon and ³₅ of remaining orange juice in the evening. After that, there was ¹₅ a bottle of orange juice left. How much of the orange juice did she drink in the evening?
Fraction of the remaining orange juice left in the end
= 1 - ³₅
= ²₅

The remaining orange juice left in the end is equal to ¹₅ of the bottle of orange juice.
Make numerators the same.
LCM of 2 and 1 is 2.
 
²₅ of the remaining orange juice = ¹₅ of the total orange juice
²₅ of the remaining orange juice = ²₁₀ of the total orange juice

Volume of orange juice that she drank in the afternoon
= 10 u - 5 u
= 5 u

5 u = 250

1 u = 250 ÷ 5 = 50

Volume of orange juice that she drank in the evening
= 3 u
= 3 x 50
= 150 mℓ
