Fanny had a bottle of juice. She drank 1050 mℓ of juice in the afternoon and ³₅ of remaining juice in the evening. After that, there was ¹₁₀ a bottle of juice left. How much of the juice did she drink in the evening?
Fraction of the remaining juice left in the end
= 1 - ³₅
= ²₅

The remaining juice left in the end is equal to ¹₁₀ of the bottle of juice.
Make numerators the same.
LCM of 2 and 1 is 2.
 
²₅ of the remaining juice = ¹₁₀ of the total juice
²₅ of the remaining juice = ²₂₀ of the total juice

Volume of juice that she drank in the afternoon
= 20 u - 5 u
= 15 u

15 u = 1050

1 u = 1050 ÷ 15 = 70

Volume of juice that she drank in the evening
= 3 u
= 3 x 70
= 210 mℓ
