Fraction of the remaining juice left in the end
= 1 - ²₅
= ³₅

The remaining juice left in the end is equal to ¹₆ of the bottle of juice.
Make numerators the same.
LCM of 3 and 1 is 3.
 
³₅ of the remaining juice = ¹₆ of the total juice
³₅ of the remaining juice = ³₁₈ of the total juice

Volume of juice that she drank in the afternoon
= 18 u - 5 u
= 13 u

13 u = 1040

1 u = 1040 ÷ 13 = 80

Volume of juice that she drank in the evening
= 2 u
= 2 x 80
= 160 mℓ
