Mr Ang used ⁵₉ of his money to buy 15 passion fruits and 8 lemons. The cost of 5 passion fruits was the same as that of 2 lemons. What was the most number of lemons that Mr Ang could buy with the money he had left?
Fraction of his money that he had left
= 1 - ⁵₉ 
= ⁴₉

Let the cost of 1 passion fruit be 1 P.
Let the cost of 1 lemon be 1 L.

5 P = 2 L _(x3)
15 P = 6 L

Since Mr Ang wants to buy lemons with the money he had left, 15 passion fruits will be substituted as 6 lemons.

⁵₉ of his money
= 15 P + 8 L
= 6 L + 8 L
= 14 L

⁵₉ of his money → 14 L
¹₉ of his money → ¹⁴₅ L
⁴₉ of his money → 4 x ¹⁴₅ L = 11¹₅ L

Maximum number of lemons he could buy with the money that he had left = 11
