Let the cost of 1 kiwi be 1 K.
Let the cost of 1 pomegranate be 1 P.

3 K = 4 P _(x2)
6 K = 8 P

Since Mr Lin wants to buy pomegranates with the money he had left, 6 kiwis will be substituted as 8 pomegranates.

= 6 K + 5 P
= 8 P + 5 P
= 13 P
