Volume of water that Harry had = 15 B + 7 --- (1)
Volume of water that Reggie had = 13 B + 7.44 --- (2)
The volume of water that Harry and Reggie have is the same.
(1) = (2)
15 B + 7 = 13 B + 7.44
15 B - 13 B = 7.44 - 7
2 B = 0.44
1 B = 0.44 ÷ 2 = 0.22
1 ℓ = 1000 mℓ
0.22 ℓ = 0.22 x 1000 = 220 mℓ

Volume of 15 bottles
= 15 x 0.22
= 3.3 ℓ
Volume of water that Harry had at first
= 15 B + 7
= 15 x 0.22 + 7
= 3.3 + 7
= 10.3 ℓ
Total volume of water that Harry and Reggie had at first
= 2 x 10.3
= 20.6 ℓ
