Number of strawberry cookies and blueberry cookies was equal at first.
1 p + 4 u + 16 = 1 p + 52
4 u = 52 - 16
4 u = 36
1 u = 36 ÷ 4 = 9
Total number of cookies in the end
= 1 p + 1 p + 16 + 1 p + 16 + 9
= 1 p + 1 p + 1 p + 16 + 16 + 9
= 3 p + 41
3 p + 41 = 50
3 p = 50 - 41
3 p = 9
1 p = 9 ÷ 3 = 3
Number of blueberry cookies at first
= 1 p + 52
= 3 + 52
= 55
Answer(s): 55
