Number of chocolate cupcakes and matcha cupcakes was equal at first.
1 p + 2 u + 22 = 1 p + 46
2 u = 46 - 22
2 u = 24
1 u = 24 ÷ 2 = 12
Total number of cupcakes in the end
= 1 p + 1 p + 22 + 1 p + 22 + 12
= 1 p + 1 p + 1 p + 22 + 22 + 12
= 3 p + 56
3 p + 56 = 74
3 p = 74 - 56
3 p = 18
1 p = 18 ÷ 3 = 6
Number of matcha cupcakes at first
= 1 p + 46
= 6 + 46
= 52
