Dylan, Vaidev and Eric bought some puffs. After Dylan ate ⁵₈ of his puffs, Vaidev ate ⁴₅ of his puffs and Eric ate 2 puffs, each of them had the same number of puffs left. Dylan had 70 less puffs than Vaidev at first.

The number of puffs that Dylan and Vaidev each had in the end is the same. Make the number of puffs that Dylan and Vaidev each had in the end the same.  LCM of 3 and 1 is 3.

Number of puffs that Dylan had less than Vaidev at first
= 15 u - 8 u
= 7 u

7 u = 70

1 u = 70 ÷ 7 = 10

Number of puffs that Dylan had at first
= 8 u
= 8 x 10
= 80

Total number of puffs that the 3 of them bought
= 8 u + 15 u + 3 u + 2
= 26 u + 2
= 26 x 10 + 2
= 260 + 2
