The amount that Diana and Tina had in the end is the same. Make the amount that they each had in the end the same. LCM of 1 and 2 is 2.
Total amount that Diana and Tina had at first
= 5 u + 6 u
= 11 u
11 u = 1100
1 u = 1100 ÷ 11 = 100
Amount that Diana had at first
= 5 u
= 5 x 100
= $500

Amount that Tina had at first
= 6 u
= 6 x 100
= $600
Tina has the same number of $5-note and $10-note at first.
Value of 1 set of $5-note and $10-note
= 5 + 10
