Number of unburnt tarts = 40 u

Total number of unburnt pastries
= 6 u + 40 u
= 46 u

46 u = 138

1 u = 138 ÷ 46 = 3

Number of unburnt strawberry tarts
= 5 u
= 5 x 3
= 15
