Volume of water in the tank at first
= ¹₆ x 50 x 45 x 34
= 12750 cm³

Volume of water in the tank in the end
= ⁷₁₀ x 50 x 45 x 34
= 53550 cm³

Volume of water added into the tank by the tap
= 53550 - 12750
= 40800 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
40800 mℓ = 40800 ÷ 1000 = 40.8 ℓ

From 8.24 p.m. to 8.36 p.m.: 12 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 40.8 ÷ 12
