Volume of water in the tank at first
= ¹₃ x 80 x 60 x 20
= 32000 cm³

Volume of water in the tank in the end
= ⁹₁₀ x 80 x 60 x 20
= 86400 cm³

Volume of water added into the tank by the tap
= 86400 - 32000
= 54400 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
54400 mℓ = 54400 ÷ 1000 = 54.4 ℓ

From 1.12 p.m. to 1.29 p.m.: 17 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 54.4 ÷ 17
= 3.2 ℓ
