Volume of water in the tank at first
= ¹₁₀ x 40 x 20 x 30
= 2400 cm³

Volume of water in the tank in the end
= ⁷₁₀ x 40 x 20 x 30
= 16800 cm³

Volume of water added into the tank by the tap
= 16800 - 2400
= 14400 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
14400 mℓ = 14400 ÷ 1000 = 14.4 ℓ

From 7.22 p.m. to 7.38 p.m.: 16 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 14.4 ÷ 16
= 0.9 ℓ
