Volume of water in the container at first
= ¹₆ x 45 x 30 x 35
= 7875 cm³

Volume of water in the container in the end
= ⁵₆ x 45 x 30 x 35
= 39375 cm³

Volume of water added into the container by the tap
= 39375 - 7875
= 31500 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
31500 mℓ = 31500 ÷ 1000 = 31.5 ℓ

From 3.26 p.m. to 3.47 p.m.: 21 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 31.5 ÷ 21
