Volume of water in the container at first
= ¹₅ x 60 x 50 x 24
= 14400 cm³

Volume of water in the container in the end
= ⁴₅ x 60 x 50 x 24
= 57600 cm³

Volume of water added into the container by the tap
= 57600 - 14400
= 43200 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
43200 mℓ = 43200 ÷ 1000 = 43.2 ℓ

From 9.12 p.m. to 9.24 p.m.: 12 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 43.2 ÷ 12
