Volume of water in the tank at first
= ¹₁₀ x 50 x 40 x 31
= 6200 cm³

Volume of water in the tank in the end
= ³₄ x 50 x 40 x 31
= 46500 cm³

Volume of water added into the tank by the tap
= 46500 - 6200
= 40300 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
40300 mℓ = 40300 ÷ 1000 = 40.3 ℓ

From 9.19 p.m. to 9.32 p.m.: 13 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 40.3 ÷ 13
= 3.1 ℓ
