Volume of water in the container at first
= ¹₅ x 70 x 55 x 25
= 19250 cm³

Volume of water in the container in the end
= ⁵₇ x 70 x 55 x 25
= 68750 cm³

Volume of water added into the container by the tap
= 68750 - 19250
= 49500 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
49500 mℓ = 49500 ÷ 1000 = 49.5 ℓ

From 5.40 p.m. to 5.55 p.m.: 15 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 49.5 ÷ 15
= 3.3 ℓ
