Volume of water in the tank at first
= ¹₈ x 80 x 60 x 24
= 14400 cm³

Volume of water in the tank in the end
= ⁵₆ x 80 x 60 x 24
= 96000 cm³

Volume of water added into the tank by the tap
= 96000 - 14400
= 81600 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
81600 mℓ = 81600 ÷ 1000 = 81.6 ℓ

From 2.15 p.m. to 2.31 p.m.: 16 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 81.6 ÷ 16
= 5.1 ℓ
