Volume of water in the container at first
= ¹₆ x 80 x 60 x 21
= 16800 cm³

Volume of water in the container in the end
= ⁵₈ x 80 x 60 x 21
= 63000 cm³

Volume of water added into the container by the tap
= 63000 - 16800
= 46200 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
46200 mℓ = 46200 ÷ 1000 = 46.2 ℓ

From 6.12 p.m. to 6.23 p.m.: 11 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 46.2 ÷ 11
