Volume of water in the container at first
= ¹₄ x 60 x 40 x 32
= 19200 cm³

Volume of water in the container in the end
= ⁵₈ x 60 x 40 x 32
= 48000 cm³

Volume of water added into the container by the tap
= 48000 - 19200
= 28800 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
28800 mℓ = 28800 ÷ 1000 = 28.8 ℓ

From 10.15 p.m. to 10.27 p.m.: 12 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 28.8 ÷ 12
= 2.4 ℓ
