Volume of water in the container at first
= ¹₇ x 50 x 40 x 28
= 8000 cm³

Volume of water in the container in the end
= ⁷₈ x 50 x 40 x 28
= 49000 cm³

Volume of water added into the container by the tap
= 49000 - 8000
= 41000 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
41000 mℓ = 41000 ÷ 1000 = 41 ℓ

From 10.10 p.m. to 10.20 p.m.: 10 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 41 ÷ 10
= 4.1 ℓ
