Volume of water in the tank at first
= ¹₆ x 80 x 60 x 23
= 18400 cm³

Volume of water in the tank in the end
= ⁵₈ x 80 x 60 x 23
= 69000 cm³

Volume of water added into the tank by the tap
= 69000 - 18400
= 50600 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
50600 mℓ = 50600 ÷ 1000 = 50.6 ℓ

From 10.28 p.m. to 10.50 p.m.: 22 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 50.6 ÷ 22
= 2.3 ℓ
