Volume of water in the tank at first
= ¹₈ x 65 x 60 x 24
= 11700 cm³

Volume of water in the tank in the end
= ⁵₈ x 65 x 60 x 24
= 58500 cm³

Volume of water added into the tank by the tap
= 58500 - 11700
= 46800 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
46800 mℓ = 46800 ÷ 1000 = 46.8 ℓ

From 6.17 p.m. to 6.29 p.m.: 12 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 46.8 ÷ 12
