Volume of water in the tank at first
= ¹₄ x 60 x 40 x 35
= 21000 cm³

Volume of water in the tank in the end
= ²₃ x 60 x 40 x 35
= 56000 cm³

Volume of water added into the tank by the tap
= 56000 - 21000
= 35000 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
35000 mℓ = 35000 ÷ 1000 = 35 ℓ

From 7.28 p.m. to 7.53 p.m.: 25 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 35 ÷ 25
= 1.4 ℓ
