Volume of water in the tank at first
= ¹₇ x 70 x 50 x 20
= 10000 cm³

Volume of water in the tank in the end
= ⁴₇ x 70 x 50 x 20
= 40000 cm³

Volume of water added into the tank by the tap
= 40000 - 10000
= 30000 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
30000 mℓ = 30000 ÷ 1000 = 30 ℓ

From 10.24 p.m. to 10.44 p.m.: 20 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 30 ÷ 20
