Volume of water in the tank at first
= ¹₄ x 70 x 60 x 24
= 25200 cm³

Volume of water in the tank in the end
= ⁶₇ x 70 x 60 x 24
= 86400 cm³

Volume of water added into the tank by the tap
= 86400 - 25200
= 61200 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
61200 mℓ = 61200 ÷ 1000 = 61.2 ℓ

From 4.34 p.m. to 4.46 p.m.: 12 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 61.2 ÷ 12
