Volume of water in the tank at first
= ¹₁₀ x 80 x 70 x 20
= 11200 cm³

Volume of water in the tank in the end
= ⁵₈ x 80 x 70 x 20
= 70000 cm³

Volume of water added into the tank by the tap
= 70000 - 11200
= 58800 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
58800 mℓ = 58800 ÷ 1000 = 58.8 ℓ

From 10.31 p.m. to 10.43 p.m.: 12 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 58.8 ÷ 12
