Volume of water in the tank at first
= ¹₆ x 40 x 30 x 34
= 6800 cm³

Volume of water in the tank in the end
= ⁵₈ x 40 x 30 x 34
= 25500 cm³

Volume of water added into the tank by the tap
= 25500 - 6800
= 18700 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
18700 mℓ = 18700 ÷ 1000 = 18.7 ℓ

From 7.13 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.: 17 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 18.7 ÷ 17
