Volume of water in the tank at first
= ¹₃ x 60 x 40 x 21
= 16800 cm³

Volume of water in the tank in the end
= ⁵₆ x 60 x 40 x 21
= 42000 cm³

Volume of water added into the tank by the tap
= 42000 - 16800
= 25200 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
25200 mℓ = 25200 ÷ 1000 = 25.2 ℓ

From 10.29 p.m. to 10.41 p.m.: 12 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 25.2 ÷ 12
