Volume of water in the tank at first
= ¹₃ x 55 x 40 x 27
= 19800 cm³

Volume of water in the tank in the end
= ²₃ x 55 x 40 x 27
= 39600 cm³

Volume of water added into the tank by the tap
= 39600 - 19800
= 19800 cm³

1000 mℓ = 1 ℓ
19800 mℓ = 19800 ÷ 1000 = 19.8 ℓ

From 10.40 p.m. to 10.51 p.m.: 11 min

Volume of water that flowed out of the tap in a minute
= 19.8 ÷ 11
