3. The number of highlighters in Box W is 270. Find the number of highlighters in Box X.

1% of stationery in Box W = 270 ÷ 45 = 6 
100% of the stationery in Box W = 100 x 6 = 600

Number of stationery in Box X
= 600 ÷ 2

1% of stationery in Box W = 300 ÷ 100 = 3
